Transparent, apple green variety of olivine is termed as peridot. It is come from peridotite rock. The main source of peridot from Myanmar is Pan Lin Pyaung Gaung area, Mogok Township, Mandalay Division. Myanmar peridot gem have more Fe% > Mg% refractive index, specific gravity and deeply green colour than peridots from other countries. Those make Myanmar peridot more beautiful.
