Spessartine Garnet |
The name garnet refers to a group of minerals related in composition and crystal structure. Gem garnets occur in a range or red, orange and green colour. Spessartine garnets are yellowish-orange which also known as “mandarin garnet”. Spessartines occur in granite pegmatites. Due to the higher refractive index (RI), spessartine garnet is one of the most brilliant colour gemstones of the world.
